What the score means
The score is a structured summary of the answers recorded for your programme at one point in time, comparable with your own earlier assessments.
It does mean
- That the IPC programme was assessed against a recognised structure rather than an ad hoc checklist.
- That you can see which components are behind and by how much.
- That the next assessment can be compared with this one on the same basis.
- That improvement can be demonstrated to leadership in numbers.
How to present it
State the score, the level, and the two or three components that account for most of the shortfall. Then state what is being done about them. A score without a plan invites the wrong conversation.
