Your overall score

The overall score is the sum of your eight component scores, out of 800, calculated from the points attached to the answers you selected.

Each indicator answer carries a number of points defined by the framework. The points you earned in a core component are added together to give that component’s score out of 100, and the eight component scores are added to give your total out of 800.

Nothing is weighted, averaged or adjusted behind the scenes. Every figure on the report traces back through assessment → component → indicator → the answer you selected → the points for that answer.

Where to see it

Your dashboard shows the latest score with its IPC level.
The assessment page shows the score for that assessment, with each component beneath it.
The executive report states it alongside completion and evidence figures.

Note: A draft shows a provisional score so you can see where you stand. Only a finalized assessment has a score of record.

Component scoresEach of the eight WHO core components is scored out of 100, which is what shows you where your programme is strong and where it is weak.
Your IPC levelThe IPC level is the WHO band your total score falls into: Inadequate, Basic, Intermediate or Advanced.
What the score meansThe score is a structured summary of the answers recorded for your programme at one point in time, comparable with your own earlier assessments.
