What the score does not mean
The score is not a certification, not an accreditation, and not a statement that a hospital is clinically safe.
- It does not certify or accredit the hospital against any standard.
- It does not attest that the hospital is clinically safe.
- It is not a WHO assessment, and IPC360 is not a WHO product, is not certified by WHO and is not endorsed by WHO.
- It is not a measure of individual staff performance.
- It is only as accurate as the answers entered; a generous assessment produces a generous number and nothing more.
Interpretation, and any accreditation decision, rest with the hospital’s IPC and quality leadership. IPC360 states this on every report for that reason.
